Residential Programs
1. KIVA Women and Children's Learning Center

Population: Female

Description:
Long-term residential program (six to twelve months) for substance abusing women and their children. Services include assessment, educational workshops in topics such as life skills, vocational training, health, and relapse prevention as well as treatment planning, individual and group counseling, and parenting instruction. Services also include a perinatal detox program

2. Perinatal Detox

Population: Female

Description:
Residential detox program of five to ten days duration which provides drug and alcohol education, and an introduction to 12-step recovery in a safe, supportive environment. Referrals to longer-term treatment and sober living environments provided. Fees are based on a sliding scale. Screenings are done daily at both the East County and North Coastal Regional Recovery Centers.

3. Non-Medical Residential East County Detox

Population: Male & Female

Description:

5. New Connections

Population: Male & Female

Description:
Short-term residential program (60 to 90 days) specifically for referrals from the Parolee Partnership Program (P-3) and SASCA (Substance Abuse Services Coordination Agency). Services include educational workshops, group and individual counseling, treatment planning, and vocational training.

6. East County Safe Housing Programs

Population: Adult Female, Women with children

Description:
Alcohol and Drug-Free safe housing programs for adult women with or without children, seeking reunification OR recovering from Domestic Violence issues. Participants will attend McAlister AOD Treatment during tenancy, referrals accepted.

7. North County Sober Livings

Population: Male

Description:

Transitional housing for single men and women, married couples, women or men with children, and families.

8. Adolescent Group Homes

Population: Male & Female (separate facilities)

Description:
Short-term residential program (21 days) for substance abusing adolescents. Services include assessment, educational workshops, group and individual counseling, self-help group attendance, and recreational activities.
